The Wallowa Cougars defeated the visiting Pine Eagle Spartans basketball squad by a final score of 50-35 in Saturday's league outing.
Next, the Cougars clash with the Powder Valley Badgers (North Powder, OR) in a 1A Old Oregon outing, on Tuesday, February 11. Wallowa will attempt to upgrade on its 7-16 season record. The Badgers come into the outing with a 9-14 record after their 47-45 league loss to Elgin (Elgin, OR).
The Spartans (3-19) will now prepare for their outing against Powder Valley (North Powder, OR). The Badgers come into the 1A Old Oregon outing with a 9-14 record.
