The Rowan County Vikings basketball team scored 62 points and limited the visiting West Carter Comets to 30 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Vikings now have a 11-12 record. They play next when they travel to East Carter for a non-league game on Friday, February 14. Rowan County will confront a Raiders team coming off a 47-44 non-league win over Lewis County (Vanceburg, KY). The Raiders record now stands at 7-13.

With the loss, West Carter falls to 3-20 on the campaign. The Comets host Fairview (Ashland, KY) to confront the Eagles in a non-league game on Monday, February 10. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 4-16.
