Section Lions (Section, AL) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Sand Rock Wildcats (Leesburg, AL), 70-54 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Section upgrades its record to 22-8 on the year. The Lions travel to Southeastern (Remlap, AL) to face the Mustangs in a non-league match on Wednesday, February 12. The Mustangs enter the match with a record of 14-13. Southeastern won 71-54 in their recent non-league match against Alabama Aerospace and Aviation (Bessemer, AL)

The Wildcats now sport a 16-14 record.
