The Sharpstown Apollos basketball squad (Houston, TX), was crushed 76-37 in Saturday's league battle with the host Sterling Raiders (Houston, TX)

With the victory, Sterling advances its record to 14-13 on the year. The Raiders host Galena Park (Galena Park, TX) to meet the Yellowjackets in a 5A Region III District 21 battle on Wednesday, February 12. The Yellowjackets enter the battle with a record of 13-17. Galena Park lost 71-52 in their recent league battle against Madison (Houston, TX)

The Apollos now own a 1-20 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Milby for a 5A Region III District 21 battle on Wednesday, February 12. Sharpstown will meet a Buffs squad coming off a 75-71 league loss to Waltrip (Houston, TX). The Buffs record now stands at 6-21.
