In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Abingdon/Avon Tornadoes basketball team scored a big 58-29 win over the Knoxville Blue Bullets.
The Tornadoes (25-4) will now prepare for their contest against Wethersfield (Kewanee, IL). The Flying Geese come into the non-league contest with a 24-4 record. In their last contest, Wethersfield smashed Monmouth United (Monmouth, IL), 43-31, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Blue Bullets battle the Illini West Chargers (Carthage, IL) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, February 13. Knoxville will attempt to better on its 13-12 season record. The Chargers come into the contest with a 16-14 record after their 68-49 league loss to Macomb (Macomb, IL).
