The Lawrence County Bulldogs basketball squad (Louisa, KY), was nudged 57-50 in Saturday's league battle with the visiting Betsy Layne Bobcats (Betsy Layne, KY)
With the victory, Betsy Layne advances its record to 14-5 on the year. The Bobcats travel to Pike County Central (Pikeville, KY) to meet the Hawks in a non-league battle on Monday, February 10. The Hawks enter the battle with a record of 10-12. Pike County Central lost 66-59 in their recent non-league battle against Mountain Mission (Grundy, VA)
The Bulldogs now own a 9-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Boyd County for a non-league battle on Monday, February 10. Lawrence County will meet a Lions squad coming off a 63-60 non-league loss to Menifee County (Frenchburg, KY). The Lions record now stands at 15-8.
