Wyoming High School Basketball - East thwarts Campbell County

February 8, 2025: Cheyenne, WY 82001

The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the East Thunderbirds (Cheyenne, WY) and the visiting Campbell County Camels (Gillette, WY), observed East's basketball team knock off Campbell County by a score of 60-40.

The Thunderbirds (17-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Thunder Basin (Gillette, WY). The Bolts come into the 4A East challenge with a 7-9 record. In their last challenge, Thunder Basin was knocked off by Laramie (Laramie, WY), 63-50, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Camels encounter the Laramie Plainsmen (Laramie, WY) in a 4A East challenge, on Friday, February 14. Campbell County will attempt to improve on its 9-7 season record. The Plainsmen come into the challenge with a 9-9 record after their 63-50 league win over Thunder Basin (Gillette, WY).
