The Santa Fe Demons basketball team scored 40 points and limited the visiting Capital Jaguars to 26 in the Demons league triumph on Saturday.

The Demons now possess a 11-11 record. They play next when they travel to Manzano for a non-league game on Tuesday, February 11. Santa Fe will confront a Monarchs team coming off a 65-45 league loss to Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM). The Monarchs record now stands at 10-11.

With the loss, Capital falls to 7-15 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Sandia (Albuquerque, NM) to confront the Matadors in a 5A District 2 game on Tuesday, February 11. The Matadors go into the game with a record of 21-1. Sandia won 65-51 in their recent league game against La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM)
