Nebraska High School Basketball - Gering nudges Chase County

The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Gering Bulldogs (Gering, NE) and the visiting Chase County Longhorns (Imperial, NE), observed Gering's basketball team edge Chase County by a score of 56-52.

The Bulldogs (11-8) will now prepare for their challenge against McCook (McCook, NE). The Bison come into the non-league challenge with a 14-7 record. In their last challenge, McCook edged Alliance (Alliance, NE), 42-31, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Longhorns encounter the Hitchcock County Falcons (Trenton, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 11. Chase County will attempt to improve on its 9-9 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 8-12 record after their 57-31 non-league loss to Arapahoe (Arapahoe, NE).
