New Mexico High School Basketball - Mescalero Apache defeats Cloudcroft

The Mescalero Apache Chiefs (Mescalero, NM) basketball were winner over the host Cloudcroft Bears (Cloudcroft, NM), 52-37 in Saturday's league bout.
The Chiefs now possess a 13-9 record. They play next when they travel to Capitan for a 2A District 3 bout on Thursday, February 13. Mescalero Apache will play a Tigers team coming off a 51-36 league loss to Lordsburg (Lordsburg, NM). The Tigers record now stands at 7-14.
With the loss, Cloudcroft falls to 6-15 on the campaign. The Bears host Mesilla Valley Christian School (Las Cruces, NM) to play the SonBlazers in a 2A District 3 bout on Tuesday, February 11. The SonBlazers go into the bout with a record of 15-3. Mesilla Valley Christian School won 58-18 in their recent non-league bout against Loving (Loving, NM)
