West Rutland Golden Horde (West Rutland, VT) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Hazen Wildcats (Hardwick, VT), 54-49 in a non-league match.
With the victory, West Rutland advances its record to 13-2 on the year. The Golden Horde travel to Otter Valley (Brandon, VT) to face the Otters in a Marble Valley - B match on Monday, February 10. The Otters enter the match with a record of 4-10. Otter Valley won 47-38 in their recent league match against Springfield (Springfield, VT)
The Wildcats now own a 14-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Enosburg Falls for a Mountain match on Monday, February 10.
