The Heavener Wolves basketball team scored 54 points and limited the host Poteau Pirates to 38 in the Wolves non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Wolves now possess a 7-16 record. They play next when they travel to Pocola for a Black Diamond game on Tuesday, February 11. Heavener will confront a Indians team coming off a 74-49 non-league win over Idabel (Idabel, OK). The Indians record now stands at 19-1.
With the loss, Poteau falls to 3-19 on the campaign. The Pirates host Roland (Roland, OK) to confront the Rangers in a NOAA game on Tuesday, February 11. The Rangers go into the game with a record of 14-3.
