Illinois High School Basketball - Litchfield triumphant over North Greene

The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Litchfield Purple Panthers (Litchfield, IL) and the host North Greene Spartans (White Hall, IL), observed Litchfield's basketball team overwhelm North Greene by a margin of 55-22.
The Purple Panthers (11-15) will now prepare for their challenge against Vandalia (Vandalia, IL). The Vandals come into the South Central challenge with a 15-11 record. In their last challenge, Vandalia was trounced by Hillsboro (Hillsboro, IL), 71-44, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Spartans battle the Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia Trojans (Concord, IL) in a Western Illinois Valley challenge, on Monday, February 10. North Greene will attempt to better on its 5-21 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 13-11 record after their 59-29 league loss to Brown County (Mt. Sterling, IL).
