In Saturday's non-league contest, the host North Pocono Trojans basketball team scored a big 67-29 win over the West Scranton Invaders.
The Trojans (11-9) will now prepare for their contest against Wallenpaupack Area (Hawley, PA). The Buckhorns come into the Lackawanna 2 contest with a 7-10 record. In their last contest, Wallenpaupack Area was trounced by Scranton (Scranton, PA), 61-34, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Invaders battle the Scranton Prep Cavaliers (Scranton, PA) in a Lackawanna 1 contest, on Monday, February 10. West Scranton will attempt to better on its 2-15 season record. The Cavaliers come into the contest with a 19-1 record after their 52-32 league win over Abington Heights (Clarks Summit, PA).
