The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Sidney Red Raiders (Sidney, NE) and the host Scottsbluff Bearcats (Scottsbluff, NE), observed Sidney's basketball team overcome Scottsbluff by a score of 43-33.

The Red Raiders (15-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Chadron (Chadron, NE). The Cardinals come into the C1 District 12 challenge with a 11-11 record. In their last challenge, Chadron dropped by Douglas (Douglas, WY), 74-17, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Bearcats battle the North Platte Bulldogs (North Platte, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 14. Scottsbluff will attempt to improve on its 10-11 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 6-13 record after their 67-44 non-league loss to Crete (Crete, NE).
