New Mexico High School Basketball - Tohatchi overwhelms Thoreau

The Tohatchi Cougars basketball team scored 60 points and limited the visiting Thoreau Hawks to 33 in the Cougars league triumph on Saturday.
The Cougars now possess a 13-9 record. They play next when they host Newcomb for a 3A District 1 game on Tuesday, February 11. Tohatchi will confront a Skyhawks team coming off a 54-48 league loss to Wingate (Fort Wingate, NM). The Skyhawks record now stands at 15-7.
With the loss, Thoreau falls to 11-12 on the campaign. The Hawks host Zuni (Zuni, NM) to confront the Thunderbirds in a 3A District 1 game on Thursday, February 13. The Thunderbirds go into the game with a record of 4-18.
