Rhode Island High School Ice Hockey - Smithfield knocks off La Salle Academy

In Saturday's league contest, the visiting Smithfield Sentinels ice hockey team scored a close 3-0 victory over the La Salle Academy Rams.
The Sentinels (11-1) will now prepare for their contest against Burrillville (Harrisville, RI). The Broncos go into the Division 1 contest with a 8-10 record.
In their next game, the Rams play the Coventry Oakers (Coventry, RI) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, February 13. La Salle Academy will attempt to better on its 14-7 season record. The Oakers go into the contest with a 6-2 record after their 3-0 non-league win over La Salle Academy (Providence, RI).
