Kirtland Central Broncos (Kirtland, NM) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Gallup Bengals (Gallup, NM), 51-48 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Kirtland Central advances its record to 13-0 on the year. The Broncos host Shiprock (Shiprock, NM) to face the Chieftains in a non-league match on Thursday, February 13. The Chieftains enter the match with a record of 1-6.
The Bengals now own a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Miyamura for a non-league match on Thursday, February 13.
