Colorado High School Basketball - Lamar nips Banning Lewis Academy

In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Lamar Thunder basketball team scored a close 57-53 triumph over the Banning Lewis Academy Stallions.
The Thunder (9-0) will now prepare for their contest against Holly (Holly, CO). The Wildcats go into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Holly was tipped by Las Animas (Las Animas, CO), 44-34, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Stallions battle the Thomas MacLaren School Highlanders (Colorado Springs, CO) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, February 11. Banning Lewis Academy will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record. The Highlanders go into the contest with a 5-9 record after their 42-24 non-league loss to Golden View Classical Academy (Golden, CO).
