The Mt. Shasta Bears (Mt. Shasta, CA) basketball edged the host Fall River Bulldogs (McArthur, CA), 1-0 in Saturday's league bout.

With the loss, Fall River falls to 2-16 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Etna (Etna, CA) to play the Lions in a bout on Saturday, February 8. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 11-10. Etna lost 63-31 in their recent league bout against Mt. Shasta (Mt. Shasta, CA)
