The Wilson Prep Tigers basketball squad (Wilson, NC), was nudged 63-56 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Northwest Halifax Vikings (Littleton, NC)
With the victory, Northwest Halifax advances its record to 11-6 on the year. The Vikings host KIPP Pride (Gaston, NC) to meet the Pride in a non-league battle on Wednesday, February 12. The Pride enter the battle with a record of 2-10.
The Tigers now own a 15-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Warren County for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 11. Wilson Prep will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 60-59 league win over Rocky Mount Prep (Rocky Mount, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 14-3.
