New Mexico High School Basketball - Pine Hill nudges Alamo Navajo

In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Pine Hill Warriors (Pine Hill, NM) basketball squad edged the host Alamo Navajo Cougars (Magdalena, NM), by a count of 57-53.
The Warriors (6-9) will now prepare for their outing against Ramah (Ramah, NM). The Mustangs go into the A District 1 outing with a 9-7 record. In their last outing, Ramah held off Northwest (Shiprock, NM), 78-35, in a league outing.
The Cougars now hold a 7-14 record. They play next when they travel to Hondo Valley for a A District 3 outing on Saturday, February 12. Alamo Navajo will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 46-43 league win over Mountainair (Mountainair, NM). The Eagles record now stands at 7-11.
