Illinois High School Basketball - Jefferson knocked off by Belvidere North

The Belvidere North Blue Thunder basketball team scored 41 points and held the visiting Jefferson J-Hawks to 32 in the Blue Thunder league triumph on Wednesday.
The Blue Thunder now sport a 15-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Belvidere for a Northern Illinois 10 contest on Friday, February 11. Belvidere North will battle a Bucs team coming off a 75-44 league loss to Boylan Catholic (Rockford, IL). The Bucs record now stands at 5-23.
The J-Hawks (4-22) will now prepare for their contest against Guilford (Rockford, IL). The Vikings enter the Northern Illinois 10 contest with a 15-11 record. In their last contest, Guilford was defeated by Harlem (Machesney Park, IL), 62-61, in a league contest.
