The Bunker Hill Bears basketball team (Claremont, NC), was nudged 55-49 in Wednesday's league battle with the host East Burke Cavaliers (Connelly Springs, NC)
The Cavaliers now possess a 5-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Caldwell for a 2A Conference 45 battle on Friday, February 11. East Burke will confront a Warriors team coming off a 70-68 league loss to Bandys (Catawba, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 14-9.
The Bears (5-15) will now prepare for their battle against Bandys (Catawba, NC). The Trojans come into the 2A Conference 45 battle with a 6-16 record. In their last battle, Bandys edged West Caldwell (Lenoir, NC), 70-68, in a league battle.
