Connecticut High School Basketball - Guilford can't hold off Foran

The Foran Lions basketball team scored 40 points and held the host Guilford Grizzlies to 38 in the Lions league triumph on Wednesday.
The Lions now sport a 5-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Haven for a non-league contest on Friday, February 11. Foran will battle a Yellowjackets team coming off a 86-47 non-league loss to West Haven (West Haven, CT). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 9-6.
The Grizzlies (11-6) will now prepare for their contest against North Haven (North Haven, CT). The Indians enter the Southern Connecticut - Hammonasset contest with a 2-15 record. In their last contest, North Haven was nudged by Hillhouse (New Haven, CT), 68-33, in a league contest.
