The Westlake Wolverines (Waldorf, MD) basketball felled the host Northern Patriots (Owings, MD), 66-57 in Wednesday's league test.
The Wolverines (13-2) will now prepare for their test against Chopticon (Morganza, MD). The Braves go into the non-league test with a 6-12 record. In their last test, Chopticon was beaten by St. Charles (Waldorf, MD), 73-45, in a league test.
The Patriots now own a 5-10 record. They play next when they host La Plata for a Southern Maryland test on Friday, February 11. Northern will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 77-42 league loss to Stone (Waldorf, MD). The Warriors record now stands at 7-7.
