The Springfield Southeast Spartans (Springfield, IL) basketball crushed the visiting Rochester Rockets (Rochester, IL), 63-35 in Wednesday's league test.
The Spartans (18-8) will now prepare for their test against Decatur Eisenhower (Decatur, IL). The Panthers go into the Central State Eight test with a 9-17 record. In their last test, Decatur Eisenhower was trounced by Glenwood (Chatham, IL), 78-61, in a league test.
The Rockets now own a 10-18 record. They play next when they host Jacksonville for a Central State Eight test on Friday, February 11. Rochester will encounter a Crimsons squad coming off a 48-40 league win over Springfield (Springfield, IL). The Crimsons record now stands at 5-22.
