Virginia High School Basketball - Council overwhelmed by Grundy

The Grundy Golden Wave basketball team scored 52 points and restricted the host Council Cobras to 8 in the Golden Wave league victory on Wednesday.
The Golden Wave now sport a 13-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Twin Valley for a Black Diamond contest on Thursday, February 10. Grundy will battle a Panthers team coming off a 58-11 league win over Council (Council, VA). The Panthers record now stands at 14-4.
The Cobras (0-18) will now prepare for their contest against Holston (Damascus, VA). The Cavaliers come into the non-league contest with a 6-14 record. In their last contest, Holston was ripped by Patrick Henry (Glade Spring, VA), 65-49, in a league match.
