Utah High School Basketball - Green River nudges Pinnacle

In Wednesday's league outing, the Green River Pirates (Green River, UT) basketball squad edged the visiting Pinnacle Panthers (Price, UT), by a margin of 29-25.

The Pirates (3-14) will now prepare for their outing against Monticello (Monticello, UT). The Buckaroo go into the 1A Region 23 outing with a 2-17 record. In their last outing, Monticello was tipped by Grand County (Moab, UT), 58-44, in a non-league outing.

The Panthers now own a 4-15 record. They play next when they host Tintic for a non-league outing on Friday, February 11. Pinnacle will clash with a Miners squad coming off a 57-13 non-league win over Wasatch Academy (Mt. Pleasant, UT). The Miners record now stands at 6-9.
