In Wednesday's league outing, the Midway Raiders (Dunn, NC) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting West Bladen Knights (Bladenboro, NC), by a count of 34-13.
The Raiders (10-11) will now prepare for their outing against Fairmont (Fairmont, NC). The Golden Tornadoes go into the 2A Conference 7 outing with a 13-8 record. In their last outing, Fairmont smashed Red Springs (Red Springs, NC), 40-14, in a league outing.
The Knights now hold a 9-12 record.
