In Thursday's league outing, the Anoka Tornadoes (Anoka, MN) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Coon Rapids Cardinals (Coon Rapids, MN), by a count of 88-67.

The Tornadoes (9-10) will now prepare for their outing against Centennial (Circle Pines, MN). The Cougars go into the AAAA Section 7 outing with a 4-15 record. In their last outing, Centennial was crushed by Spring Lake Park (Spring Lake Park, MN), 81-70, in a non-league outing.

The Cardinals now hold a 5-15 record. They play next when they travel to Maple Grove for a non-league outing on Wednesday, February 15.
