Bergen Catholic Crusaders (Oradell, NJ) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host DePaul Catholic Spartans (Wayne, NJ), 56-30 in a league battle.
The Crusaders now possess a 13-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ramapo for a non-league battle on Saturday, February 11. Bergen Catholic will confront a Raiders team coming off a 74-49 league win over Hackensack (Hackensack, NJ). The Raiders record now stands at 23-2.
The Spartans (8-10) will now prepare for their battle against Passaic County Tech (Wayne, NJ). The Bulldogs come into the non-league battle with a 16-8 record. In their last battle, Passaic County Tech trounced Clifton (Clifton, NJ), 63-52, in a league battle.
