Northland Lutheran Wildcats (Mosinee, WI) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Bowler Panthers (Bowler, WI), 55-53 in a league bout.

With the victory, Northland Lutheran upgrades its record to 13-3 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Assumption (Wisconsin Rapids, WI) to play the Royals in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 14. The Royals come into the bout with a record of 7-11. Assumption won 74-43 in their recent non-league bout against Abbotsford (Abbotsford, WI)

Next up, the Panthers play the Three Lakes Bluejays (Three Lakes, WI) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 10. Bowler will attempt to upgrade on its 8-8 season record.
