Elk Mound Mounders (Elk Mound, WI) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Boyceville Bulldogs (Boyceville, WI), 58-50 in a league bout.

With the win, Elk Mound upgrades its record to 15-4 on the season. The Mounders travel to Colfax (Colfax, WI) to clash with the Vikings in a Dunn-St. Croix bout on Tuesday, February 14. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 9-9. Colfax lost 61-52 in their recent league bout against Spring Valley (Spring Valley, WI)

Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Elmwood/Plum City Wolves (Elmwood, WI) in a Dunn-St. Croix bout, on Tuesday, February 14. Boyceville will attempt to upgrade on its 7-10 season record. The Wolves go into the bout with a 3-15 record after their 66-57 league loss to Glenwood City (Glenwood City, WI).
