Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Brookfield Bobcats (Brookfield, CT) and the visiting New Fairfield Rebels (New Fairfield, CT), witnessed Brookfield's basketball squad beat New Fairfield by a margin of 70-54.

The Bobcats (14-4) will now prepare for their outing against Masuk (Monroe, CT). The Panthers go into the Southwest outing with a 8-9 record. In their last outing, Masuk was beaten by Kolbe-Cathedral (Bridgeport, CT), 60-45, in a league outing.
