In Thursday's non-league outing, the Cass Lake-Bena Panthers (Cass Lake, MN) basketball squad felled the visiting Pine River-Backus Tigers (Pine River, MN), by a margin of 67-56.
The Panthers (20-1) will now prepare for their outing against Ada-Borup/Norman County West (Ada, MN). The Cougars go into the A Section 8 outing with a 15-3 record. In their last outing, Ada-Borup/Norman County West thwarted Bagley (Bagley, MN), 78-23, in a league outing.
