The Cassadaga Valley Cougars basketball team (Sinclairville, NY), was toppled 44-34 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Portville Panthers (Portville, NY)
The Panthers now possess a 5-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Silver Creek for a Section 6 Chautauqua/Cattaraugus - I East battle on Monday, February 13. Portville will confront a Black Knights team coming off a 59-39 league loss to Falconer (Falconer, NY). The Black Knights record now stands at 10-7.
