The Crestview Cougars (Ashland, OH) basketball knocked off the visiting Mapleton Mounties (Ashland, OH), 70-60 in Thursday's league test.
The Cougars (18-2) will now prepare for their test against St. Paul (Norwalk, OH). The Flyers go into the Firelands test with a 8-12 record. In their last test, St. Paul went down by Perkins (Sandusky, OH), 72-62, in a non-league test.
The Mounties now own a 10-9 record. They play next when they host Loudonville for a non-league test on Saturday, February 11.
