Triton Mustangs (Runnemede, NJ) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Deptford Spartans (Deptford, NJ), 53-51 in a league bout.

With the victory, Triton upgrades its record to 13-7 on the campaign.

Next up, the Spartans play the Clayton Clippers (Clayton, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 13. Deptford will attempt to upgrade on its 9-13 season record. The Clippers come into the bout with a 15-13 record after their 72-63 league loss to Salem (Salem, NJ).
