The Dunkirk Marauders basketball team (Dunkirk, NY), was overwhelmed 82-40 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Olean Huskies (Olean, NY)
The Huskies now possess a 8-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fredonia for a Section 6 Chautauqua/Cattaraugus - I West battle on Monday, February 13. Olean will confront a Hillbillies team coming off a 66-57 league loss to Allegany-Limestone (Allegany, NY). The Hillbillies record now stands at 13-6.
The Marauders (1-16) will now prepare for their battle against Salamanca (Salamanca, NY). The Warriors come into the Section 6 Chautauqua/Cattaraugus - I West battle with a 16-2 record. In their last battle, Salamanca trounced Southwestern (Jamestown, NY), 65-33, in a league battle.
