East Aurora Blue Devils (East Aurora, NY) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Lake Shore Eagles (Angola, NY), 76-57 in a league bout.

With the win, East Aurora upgrades its record to 8-9 on the season. The Blue Devils travel to Maryvale (Cheektowaga, NY) to play the Flyers in a Section 6 Erie County III bout on Saturday, February 11. The Flyers go into the bout with a record of 1-16. Maryvale lost 84-57 in their recent league bout against Depew (Depew, NY)

Next up, the Eagles play the Cheektowaga Warriors (Cheektowaga, NY) in a Section 6 Erie County III bout, on Monday, February 13. Lake Shore will attempt to upgrade on its 5-13 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 9-10 record after their 72-48 league loss to Lackawanna (Lackawanna, NY).
