North Carolina High School Basketball - Southwest Onslow routs East Duplin

February 9, 2023: Beulaville, NC 28518

In Thursday's league outing, the Southwest Onslow Stallions (Jacksonville, NC) basketball squad overwhelmed the host East Duplin Panthers (Beulaville, NC), by a margin of 66-40.

The Stallions (14-9) will now prepare for their outing against James Kenan (Warsaw, NC). The Tigers go into the 2A Conference 6 outing with a 6-16 record. In their last outing, James Kenan was trounced by Wallace-Rose Hill (Teachey, NC), 79-67, in a league outing.

The Panthers now own a 6-12 record. They play next when they travel to Clinton for a non-league outing on Friday, February 10. East Duplin will clash with a Dark Horses squad coming off a 66-47 league loss to Midway (Dunn, NC). The Dark Horses record now stands at 4-18.
