The Santa Fe Prep Blue Griffins basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the host East Mountain Timberwolves to 39 in the Blue Griffins non-league victory on Thursday.
The Blue Griffins now sport a 10-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Las Vegas for a 3A District 2 contest on Friday, February 10. Santa Fe Prep will battle a Dons team coming off a 59-56 league win over Raton (Raton, NM). The Dons record now stands at 12-11.
The Timberwolves (4-19) will now prepare for their contest against Cottonwood Classical Prep (Albuquerque, NM). The Coyotes come into the 3A District 5 contest with a 8-17 record. In their last contest, Cottonwood Classical Prep dropped by Sandia Prep (Albuquerque, NM), 65-53, in a league contest.
