The Marquette Redmen (Marquette, MI) basketball knocked off the host Escanaba Eskymos (Escanaba, MI), 68-49 in Thursday's league test.
The Redmen (11-6) will now prepare for their test against Houghton (Houghton, MI). The Gremlins go into the non-league test with a 12-3 record. In their last test, Houghton notched a victory over Hancock (Hancock, MI), 53-41, in a league test.
The Eskymos now own a 9-5 record. They play next when they travel to Kingsford for a Great Northern U.P. test on Thursday, February 16.
