Ferndale Eagles (Ferndale, MI) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Oak Park Knights (Oak Park, MI), 60-52 in a league bout.

With the victory, Ferndale upgrades its record to 9-7 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Davison (Davison, MI) to play the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 11. The Cardinals come into the bout with a record of 11-5. Davison won 88-39 in their recent league bout against Central (Bay City, MI)

Next up, the Knights play the Voyageur Academy Cougar (Detroit, MI) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 10. Oak Park will attempt to upgrade on its 8-4 season record. The Cougar come into the bout with a 6-8 record after their 82-68 non-league loss to Ecorse (Ecorse, MI).
