The South Plaquemines Hurricanes (Buras, LA) basketball crushed the host Fisher Gators (Lafitte, LA), 70-20 in Thursday's league bout.
With the win, South Plaquemines upgrades its record to 15-12 on the season. The Hurricanes travel to Houma Christian (Houma, LA) to play the Warriors in a 2A District 9 bout on Tuesday, February 14. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 11-13. Houma Christian won 51-37 in their recent league bout against Rosenwald Collegiate Academy (New Orleans, LA)
