The Suitland Rams (Forestville, MD) basketball nipped the visiting Flowers Jaguars (Springdale, MD), 54-53 in Thursday's league test.
The Rams (13-6) will now prepare for their test against Surrattsville (Clinton, MD). The Hornets go into the Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A test with a 4-14 record. In their last test, Surrattsville was tipped by Gwynn Park (Brandywine, MD), 76-37, in a league test.
The Jaguars now own a 12-8 record. They play next when they host Parkdale for a Prince George's County 4A test on Tuesday, February 14. Flowers will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 64-56 league win over DuVal (Lanham, MD). The Panthers record now stands at 7-14.
