The Hatch Valley Bears basketball team (Hatch, NM), was routed 81-38 in Thursday's league battle with the host Socorro Warriors (Socorro, NM)
The Warriors now sport a 9-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hot Springs for a 3A District 3 battle on Tuesday, February 14. Socorro will battle a Tigers team coming off a 50-40 league win over Cobre (Bayard, NM). The Tigers record now stands at 15-8.
The Bears (5-15) will now prepare for their battle against Cobre (Bayard, NM). The Indians come into the 3A District 3 battle with a 8-16 record. In their last battle, Cobre was routed by Hot Springs (Truth or Consequences, NM), 50-40, in a league battle.
