Wallace-Rose Hill Bulldogs (Teachey, NC) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host James Kenan Tigers (Warsaw, NC), 79-67 in a league bout.

With the win, Wallace-Rose Hill upgrades its record to 12-8 on the season. The Bulldogs host East Duplin (Beulaville, NC) to play the Panthers in a 2A Conference 6 bout on Tuesday, February 14. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 7-12. East Duplin won 64-61 in their recent non-league bout against Clinton (Clinton, NC)

Next up, the Tigers play the Southwest Onslow Stallions (Jacksonville, NC) in a 2A Conference 6 bout, on Tuesday, February 14. James Kenan will attempt to upgrade on its 6-16 season record. The Stallions go into the bout with a 14-9 record after their 66-40 league win over East Duplin (Beulaville, NC).
