The King's Christian Academy (Callaway, MD) basketball knocked off the host Southern Maryland Christian Academy Mustangs (White Plains, MD), 80-70 in Thursday's league test.

The (8-16) will now prepare for their test against Lanham Christian (Lanham, MD). The Lions go into the Maryland Independent League test with a 10-9 record. In their last test, Lanham Christian went down by Riverdale Baptist (Upper Marlboro, MD), 58-44, in a league test.

The Mustangs now own a 1-13 record. They play next when they travel to Riverdale Baptist for a Maryland Independent League test on Friday, February 10. Southern Maryland Christian Academy will encounter a Crusaders squad coming off a 60-48 non-league win over Shining Star Sports Academy (Petersburg, VA). The Crusaders record now stands at 21-2.
